Terms and Conditions

Our general Terms and Conditions are an agreement between you and E-Verve Energy Ltd (“Company”) which cover, software, products and services made available.

Customer service and satisfaction is important to us, please contact us with any queries you may have in relation to these terms and conditions or general information.

Execution

Our standard home user installation package covers the majority of properties in the UK. In the event surveys dictate additional work is required and this work does not require the electricity supplier, the customer will be advised of the requirements and associated cost beforehand. We will endeavour to reduce cost impact as far as practical without compromising installation standards.

All electrical installation work will comply with BS7671:2018.

Electric vehicle charge points will be installed in accordance with the above and BS 2919-609 (Understand and apply selection, installation and commissioning of electric vehicle).

All electrical installation work will comply with applicable Building Regulations.

The company shall use all reasonable skill, care and diligence providing suitable materials in compliance with the scope of works.

Survey dates will be pre-agreed with the customer, our technicians will endeavour to maintain allocated time slots and contact prior to arrival.

Limitations of liability

Nothing in this agreement in any way limits or excludes our liability for negligence causing death or personal injury or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or for anything which may not legally be excluded or limited.

If applicable eligibility for government grant funding will be verified prior to installation. If evidence to support claim is not provided in adequate time the company reserves the right to invoice the outstanding balance to the customer for payment.

In the event survey access is limited or cannot be granted in advance costs quoted assume existing electrical circuits are safe and in adequate condition. Additional works required to meet current industry regulations will be notified with costs agreed and recovered by company.

Electrical Installation certificates and Building Regulations notifications issued by the company cover only those works installed under the contract agreement

Damage or modification to electrical installations by third parties shall remain the responsibility of the customer / client.

Pricing / Payment

Quotations are valid for 60 days upon receipt of offer

For home users’ payments shall be made in full upon completion of work via bank transfer, our customer service team will provide payment details upon handover of commissioned charge point.

For commercial projects payment shall be made via bank transfer 7 days following invoice of goods and services unless stated otherwise in writing or via contract amendment.

Cancellation

A minimum 48hours notice is required for cancellation of home user works.

In the event of cancellation, the company will endeavour to return or re-use materials at no cost.

The company reserves the right to charge any fee which may be imposed due to the return of ‘bespoke’ goods such as branded items.

Warranty:

The company will install and commission the charge point in adherence with manufacturers recommendations and regulatory standards.

A 12month warranty is provided by charge point manufacturer covering adherence to specification, material defects and material workmanship.

Any defects shall be reported in the first instance to [email protected] for further investigation.

Data protection:

Any personal information you provide to us via the Website is governed by our Privacy Policy

Applicable law:

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
