Hello and welcome to E-Verve Energy’s Electric Futures Learning resource for Primary School aged children. Team E-Verve are passionate about the use of Electric Vehicles and the benefits sustainable transport models have in supporting carbon reduction for future generations. We believe the key to change is understanding and we want to use our passion and knowledge of green energy to help raise awareness of key issues our planet faces today with tomorrows generation!

Our learning and activity toolkit aims to provide an overview of fossil fuels and green energy sources and how we can make better choices for the future to look after our planet and our health.

Electric Futures Toolkit for
Parents and Schools

Our Electric Futures Green Energy Toolkit has been designed with both parents and teachers in mind. The toolkit includes 3 fun interactive learning ideas that can be used at home or in a school environment. Each learning idea provides linkage to the National Curriculum for KS1 and KS2 Primary School age children. For every learning idea we have included a learning objective, success criteria and links to further information sources for KS1 and KS2 learning. Parents and Schools

Our Electric Futures Green Energy Activities have been designed to be enjoyed by both KS1 and KS2 Primary School age children. The fun activities include a green energy wordsearch which re-inforces the vocabulary covered in the Learning Ideas. A spot the difference activity where children are also challenged to identify and label green energy sources such as solar, wind and electric vehicles. A fun green energy colouring competition to be enjoyed by all ages. All our activities aim to re-inforce the topics covered and vocabularly learned.

Electric Futures: Collective Action for our Oceans

Human behaviour on our planet has changed 66% of the oceans surface. Single use plastics are polluting our oceans and killing the oceans sea life with over 100,000 marine animals dying from becoming entangled in plastic each year.

Sea creatures are struggling to thrive as food sources are becoming scarce and habitats are being polluted There are now less than 100 wild ocrea whales in our oceans and plastic pollution is effecting all life in our oceans.

Our learning and activity resources below aim to provide an overview of issues threatening the health of our oceans and how we can make better choices for a more sustainable future.
