If you have an existing room in your roof and you have not yet installed insulation on the inside walls and sloping ceilings then you may be eligible for an ECO3 Room in Roof Insualtion Grant (RIRI) with up to 100% of the costs met by the grant. The process involves adding insulation boards between the rafters and over existing plaster boards to keep heat trapped inside as is one of the most effective ways of keeping heat inside your home and reducing energy bills. The insulation boards are made form either polyurethane or polystyrene so they are water resistant preventing rain from seeping in and heating from getting out. The ECO3 Room in Roof insulation or (RIRI) is worth up to £2700 and will reduce heating bills by 25%.

The ECO3 Room in Roof insulation or (RIRI) government backed grant is worth up to £2700 and will reduce heating bills by 25%. The process usually takes 2 days and plasterboard can also be covered if required. Room in roof insulation will create immediate savings on energy bills as well as increasing the value of your property long term.
To be eligible you must have:
• Sloped ceilings in roof
• No gas central heating
• Own/rent your property
• A Qualifying Benefit
If someone living in your home is in receipt of one of the following qualifying benefits you are a home owner/rent your property and you have no gas central heating you will be eligible for Grant funding:
